XYZed believes the future is about broadband access. We want to help businesses capture that future. Our plan is to deliver profitable and competitive wholesale high-speed broadband access to communications businesses.

Last mile access

XYZed is an Australian wholesaler of business class digital subscriber line (DSL) services to carriers and communications businesses.

Our objective is to bring real and sustained competition to Australia’s corporate data market.

DSL is a broadband technology that uses modems at customer premises and local exchanges to enable the delivery of high-speed, high quality business data services over copper telephone lines.

We have a comprehensive DSL network offering high quality business grade coverage from over 100 exchanges across the country.

XYZed was formed in April 2000 as a wholly owned independent subsidiary of Optus. We received our carrier licence from the Australian Communications Authority in June 2000.

We provide wholesale services to carriers and other communications businesses. These companies provide fast, effective broadband access to their business customers.

We don’t sell our services direct to end customers and we don’t currently plan to supply services directly to home users. But what we do (business class broadband services), we do very well!
